GEORGETOWN — Sussex Technical High School announces Dr. Meghan Feliciani and Kathy Kay, both English teachers, have earned National Board Certification.   

National Board certification is a voluntary, advanced teaching credential which includes an extensive series of performance-based assessments. The rigorous process of earning certification includes teaching portfolios, student work samples, video submission of candidate teaching, and a thorough analyses of the educators’ classroom teaching and student learning.  

National Board Certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards is the most respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students and communities.
