Sussex Tech creates display boxes for The Guide
GEORGETOWN — Sussex Technical High School carpentry students have built display boxes for The Guide, a local advertising publication.
Using classroom materials and supplies, the students constructed and painted 18 boxes, which were picked up from the school Feb. 2. They will be installed in local businesses and other locations throughout Delmarva.
The Guide is published and distributed weekly to various sites, where copies can be picked up for free.
“We appreciate the Sussex Tech students for giving back to their community and helping a local business to continue delivering an advertising resource throughout Delmarva,” said Michele Swain, general manager of The Guide.
