Rehoboth YMCA to host first Putt-Putt Golf Tournament
REHOBOTH BEACH — The Sussex Family YMCA will host its inaugural Putt-Putt Golf Tournament at Jungle Jim’s on Sunday at 1 p.m.
This family-friendly activity is for all ages and aims to raise funds for the YMCA’s annual campaign, which provides scholarships in the local community to ensure equal access to resources that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
The Sussex Family Y works to support the people who need such services most, by addressing needs such as school readiness, chronic diseases and drowning prevention. Last year, the facility provided $50,000 in financial assistance, and it has a goal to increase its impact in 2023.
To participate in the tournament, register as a team of four for $125 or as an individual for $30. The cost includes pizza and a soft drink, a 50/50 raffle and an awards ceremony at Thompson Island.
With sponsorship of a hole for $350, a foursome can participate and receive marketing recognition.
