Susan Meckley Allen

Dinwiddie, Va. - Susan Meckley Allen passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018 surrounded by loving family. Born Sept. 7, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Merrill L. Meckley and Beatrice A Meckley, and also preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline R. Allen; husband, Howard Kline Allen; and sister, Cynthia Swan.
Susan is survived by her brother, Jim Meckley and son Howard Kent Allen and wife Stephanie, grandchildren Taylor and Rebecca, and son Corbett M. Allen and wife Donna, grandchildren Alicia, Kali and Matthew and great-grandchildren Caden, Easton, Lily and Jason.
Following Susan's wishes, her remains will be donated to Virginia State Anatomical Program for medical science.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the PCD Foundation or American Cancer Society.
