MAGNOLIA - Susan Lynn Borispassed away Sun., Aug. 4, 2013 in Kent General Hospital, Dover, after a long illness. Susan had the honor of being a foster mother to over 198 children, over the course of almost 30 years of her life. She was a blessing to those children, whom she loved very much. She had also worked as a receptionist for Catholic Charities. In her free time, she enjoyed reading gothic novels, traveling, playing bingo, going to the beach and eating out. She attended the Annual Cherokee Indian Pow-Wow event, which occurs in September. Susan is survived by her husband of over 40 years, James Paul Boris; her children, Rebecca Renee Kayes, of St. Leonard, Md.; Johna Lynn Boris, of Jacksonville, Fla; Michael Raymond Shehorn, of Magnolia; Nicole Michelle Boris, of Magnolia; Joshua Paul Boris, of Dover; Keith-Taylor Isaac Boris, Cheyenne Michaela Boris, and Jade Noel Boris, all of Magnolia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; and her best friend, Kathi Kressman. As per Susan's request, there will be no services. Her family wishes to express their sincere thanks, to the Doctors and Nurses at BayHealth/Kent General Hospital, for their comfort , care, and professionalism shown to the entire family over the past 4 years.
