She was a manager of Shore Shop in Milford for many years. She enjoyed yard sales and playing cards. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry F. Mariner of Georgetown; two sons, Jerry F. Mariner Jr. of Georgetown, and Steve and Jessica Mariner of Laurel; three grandsons, Kyle and Gavin Mariner of Georgetown, and Jackson Mariner of Laurel; one brother, Edward Wagner of Milford; and three sisters, Elaine Mack of Frederica, Nancy Connelly of Felton, and Debbie McKinney of Ellendale; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union for the grandchildren's college funds.
