DOVER - Suk Cha Standley "MiSun" of Dover, passed peacefully into her Lord's arms Fri. May 6, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, after a courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). She was 60. Mrs. Standley was born July 4, 1950, in Korea to the late Chin Taek Yim and Chom Yo Yi. She worked in food service for various companies and military posts. Mrs. Standley enjoyed reading, and travelling, especially with her husband during his Air Force career. MiSun is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, John P. Standley, Jr., of Dover; mother-in-law, Marie Standley of Forest View, Ill; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hasdal of Lake in the Hills Ill, and Pamela Standley-Liesz of Hinsdale, Ill. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Mon., May 9, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, DE. Friends may call one hour prior. There will also be a funeral service and interment in Mount Auburn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Stickney, IL. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the SDS/MSA Support Group, 8311 Brier Creek Parkway, Suite 105-434, Raleigh, NC 27617. Letters of condolence may be sent and the guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
