LINCOLN - Stefan "Mickey" Gerlinger, age 45, of Lincoln, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Bayhealth At Milford Memorial Hospital. Stefan was born, June 29, 1965, in Zwiebruecken, Germany, son of William Rodgers and the late Inge Rodgers. He was a driver for Atlantic Concrete. He is survived by his fiancé, Beverly Wootten; two sons, Stefan Gerlinger, North Pole, Alaska, and Keith Gerlinger, Fairbanks, Alaska; a granddaughter, Lily Gerlinger; four brothers, Frank Gerlinger (Alice), Germany, Andreas W. Gerlinger (Colleen), Alaska, Michael Gerlinger, Washington and Thomas Gerlinger (Anna), also of Germany; a sister, Billie Jean Stock (Juergen), Germany; an uncle, Walter Hofinger (Gale), Canada; five nephews and three nieces. A funeral service will be 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call after 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
