Somjai "Ban" Cullop, 55

CAMDEN - Somjai "Ban" Cullop, of Camden, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, in the Delaware Hospice House, Milford with her family by her side. She was 55. She was born on May 11, 1953, in Thailand. Somjai enjoyed life as a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Walker D. Cullop; a daughter, Pamela Cullop of Dover; two stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Ames of Wyoming, Ill., and Carmen Wantowski and her husband Robert of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren, Justin Cullop and his wife Kim, Aubrey Ames, Russell Wantowski, Jasmine Cullop, Alexis Ames, and Madison McCann; and four great-grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters in Thailand; her husband's family; six brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law and their spouses; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. today at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, (Chapel Two) Base Housing Side, Dover. Burial will be private in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901 or Mongkoltepmunee Temple, 3304 Knights Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
