SMSgt (Retired) Richard Eldridge 'Rick' Taylor Rick Taylor passed away May 19, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Born Nov. 18, 1938, in Corpus Christi, son of the late Fulton Taylor and Elsie Sutton Taylor. He married Rita Banks Wilson in 1961; they were married 42 happy years. He married Mary Curry in 2005. Rick served in the Air Force 1955 to 1979 in Maryland, Delaware, Texas, Louisiana, and California, and overseas in Labrador, Japan, Vietnam, and England. After retirement, he was a shop teacher at Milford High School for many years. Besides his family, his greatest joys were fishing, hunting, and traveling. He was preceded in death by his first wife and dearly-loved grandson Kiah Mitchell Taylor. Survived by his wife of 15 years, Mary Taylor; children, Barbara Wilson (Marc Alei), Donna (Frank) Magaña, Gary Taylor, and Kiah (Charlene) Taylor. Also survived by grandchildren, Jayson and Bryan Magaña, Heather, Richard and Andrew Taylor; four great-grandchildren; and his devoted dog, Schotzie. Memorial service will be held June 21, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be sent to your favorite veteran's organization.
