Shirley worked many years in the cafeteria at Geneva High School. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball. She loved to sing and was a long time member of the Misty River Music Makers. Her greatest pleasure, however, was spending time with her family; she especially enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren. Shirley will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children Shirley Moline of IL, Sharon (Gerry) Gibson of IL, Susan (Greg) Hefler of IL, Raymond of IL, and Stephanie (James) Hope of IL; grandchildren Kyle Moline, Stephen, Sarah, Joseph (Erika), and Timothy Hefler, Ashley Mihm, Ben and Madi Davis, and Rachel, Katie, Timothy, and Craig Hope; great grandchild Alex Hefler; sisters June (John) Barnshaw of PA, Fay (Dave) Collins of DE, brother-in-law Ken Beale of PA; her faithful and beloved dog Boomer; and many other dear relatives and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Anne Beale and Betty Palmer; granddaughter Jennifer Moline; daughter Sandy; and her loving husband Raymond who passed away in 2000. Funeral service for Shirley was held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:30 pm at United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton Street, Geneva, IL with Reverend Esther Lee, officiating. Interment will be held privately. Visitation was held Saturday, March 12 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva, IL.
