WILMINGTON - Shirley M. Bailey, born on Oct. 5, 1930 in Wilmington, passed away on May 29, 2014. Mrs. Bailey was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. Mrs. Bailey was the wife of the late James R. Bailey and the daughter of the late William W. Crawford and Alice M. Crawford. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Robert Crawford; and her son-in-law, Richard Duffy. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her children, daughters, Deborah E. Bailey and Bridget Bailey; and son, James R. Bailey; as well as four nephews; and a dear great-niece, Jamie Crawford. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803, where a service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
