CAMDEN - Shirley Ann Witt, formerly of Orland Park, Ill., died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones, at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was born at St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, Ind., on Aug. 29, 1948. Daughter of the late Ann and Frank Frankiewicz, of Calumet City, Ill. Mrs. Witt worked as a Certifed Laboratory Assistant at St. Margaret's Hospital, Hammond, Ind., for a number of years and also as a doctor's assistant in the same area, prior to her extended medical disabilities. She was very active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts with her son and daughter, serving in many leadership positions in both organizations. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, William G. Witt of Camden; son, Brian W. Witt of Alexandria, Va.; daughter, Keli Ann Witt of Wyoming; granddaughter, Leigh Ann Witt of Wyoming; brother, Michael Frankiewicz of Ill.; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Letters of condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
