Sharon Sue Sutton

STEVENSVILLE, Md. - Sharon Sue Sutton, of Stevensville, Md., died on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at her sister's home in Henderson, Md. She was 57. Born on Aug. 12, 1953, in Chestertown, she was the daughter of Ethel Greeson Morris of Chestertown, and the late William Edwin Morris, Sr. She graduated from Queen Anne's County High School, Class of 1971. In March 1979, she married Jeff Sutton and they later divorced. She raised her family in Chestertown where she sold cars for Geno's Auto Sales and Colonial Motors. Later she continued her sales career at Bob Smith's Automotive and David Wheeler Honda in Easton. She loved the beach, traveling and art. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Joshua B. Sutton and his wife, Amanda, of Strasburg, Pa., and Joseph Sutton of Stevensville; five brothers, William E. Morris and his wife, Debbie, of Clayton, Del., Garrie A. Morris and his wife, JoAnn, of Federalsburg, and Michael A. Morris and his wife, Cindy, of Church Hill, Chris E. Morris and his wife, Sandy, of Ruthsburg, and James A. Morris and his wife, Christine, of Symrna, Del.; four sisters, Stephanie Tribbitt and her husband, Jeff, of Bozman, Wendy Palmatary and her husband, Eddie, of Henderson, Daphne Walls of Church Hill, and Stacey Morris of Chestertown; two grandsons, Benjamin J. and Jackson C. Sutton, both of Strasburg, Pa.; and her significant other, Carroll Harvey of Stevensville. A visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 408 South Liberty Street, Centreville, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 11. Interment will follow at Church Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all contributions be directed to Hospice of Queen Anne's, Inc., 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
