DOVER - Sharon L. Satterfield, of Dover, died on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, at the age of 54. She was born on Feb. 14, 1956, in Milford, to Ralph G. and Edith M. Smithers Satterfield of Magnolia. Sharon enjoyed country music and outings. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tracy Lynn Hobbs in 2007; a niece, Karen Connelly; and a nephew, William M. Yerkie III. She is also survived by a sister, Connie Satterfield of Pickering Beach; a nephew, Dale Connelly of Alabama; two nieces, Tina Yearsley, and Terri Tucker; a great-nephew, Dagain Connelly; and a great-niece, Amy L. Tucker. Friends may call at noon, Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, in the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus St., Dover. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Walker Road Group Home, Ken-Crest Services, 1180 Walker Road, Dover, DE 19904.
