Sharen A. Vandermark, 50

SELBYVILLE - Sharen A. Vandermark of Selbyville, formerly of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 50.

Mrs. Vandermark was born Aug. 13, 1956, in Wilmington, daughter of Donald and Elizabeth (Myers) Handlin.

She was a dispatcher for Comcast Cable for a number of years.

Mrs. Vandermark was a devoted mother, daughter and a great friend.

She loved music, crocheting and doing word and crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Vandermark was a friend and companion to everyone she knew and will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Chaz Lickman; a fiance with whom she lived for four years, Steven Wacker; a son, Christopher Vandermark; a brother, Steven Handlin and his wife Diane; and a stepson, Philip Vandermark.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Lupus Foundation of America, P.O. Box 631047, Baltimore, MD 21263.
