Selma R. Lisker, 85
DOVER - Selma R. Lisker passed away peacefully Friday, March 16, 2007, in Dover after a lengthy illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Lisker was a graduate of Wilmington High School and the University of Delaware.
She retired from the state's Division of Social Services and had previously taught English at Wilmington High School.
Mrs. Lisker was a member of Temple Beth Sholom, Queen and Clara streets, Dover.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Morton Evans; and her second husband, Nathan Lisker.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosanne Cox of Wilmington; two sons, Jay Evans of Powder Springs, Ga., and Randall Evans of Sanford, Fla.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Temple Beth Sholom, Dover.
Burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Jewish Community Center Cemetery, Foulk Road, Wilmington.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice House, 5661 Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE 19808.
