MARYDEL, Del. - Scott Turner, age 51, of Marydel, Del. passed away on December 8, 2015 at the home of his lifelong best friends, Hank and Sherry Steller of Smyrna. Scott taught Young Water Fowlers, trained many dogs, including his favorite yellow lab, Feathers and going to Bombay Hook. Scott loved all motorsports and followed URC and NHRA. Scott was in many demolition derby cars or racing his #56 micro sprint against Hank's #55. Scott passed the wheel of micro sprints to his God-son Hank IV and was his biggest fan sitting in turn #4. Scott was proud of his God-son Cody Steller, as he taught him the life of the water fowl, migratory birds and working birds with duck and goose calls. He was a jokester and enjoyed sending Sherry text messages of jokes. Scott spent the last 16 years with Hank, Sherry and family at New Years Eve. Scott was a heavy equipment operator, receiving many awards for his workmanship and work ethics. He was preceded in death by Mae and Arlene Turner. Scott is survived by Hank Steller III and his wife Sherry Steller and god-sons Hank Steller IV and Cody Steller and many friends and family. Services will be privately held.
