Sarah Elizabeth Jones, 56

WILMINGTON - Sarah Elizabeth Jones of Wilmington died Thursday, March 8, 2007, in Christiana Hospital. She was 56.

Ms. Jones was born May 26, 1950, in Wilmington, daughter of Benjamin E. and Minnie Kathryn "Murray" Jones.

She worked as a custodian for Marshallton United Methodist Church.

Ms. Jones was a frequent visitor to the Carousel Farm Park, the local Equestrian Center and the home of the New Castle Mounted Police.

She loved Beanie Babies, stuffed animals, nature and horses. She supported many organizations which encouraged love and kindness to all of God's creatures.

She is survived by her parents, Benjamin E. and Minnie Kathryn "Murray" Jones; three sisters, Hope Morton of Washington D.C., Ruth Ann Bentley and Edna Mae Boutwell, both of Smyrna; and a brother, Ronald Jones of Smyrna.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Marshallton United Methodist Church, 1105 Stanton Road, Marshallton, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be 3 p.m. in Asbury Cemetery, Millington, Md.

Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington.
