GEORGETOWN - Sarah E. Shifflett, of Georgetown, passed away on April 26, 2011 at Beebe Medical Center, in Lewes. She was 90. Sarah was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Grover C. Sickler and Elizabeth Smith Sickler. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Shifflett; her son, Richard Shifflett; and son-in-law, Nelson Cantler. She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann Walker of Georgetown, Goldie Cantler of Florida, Betty Overly and her husband George of Florida, Harry Shifflett Jr. and his wife Linda of Maryland and David Shifflett and wife Russalene of Tennessee; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Georganna Vaughn of Tennessee and Beulah Deavers of Pennsylvania. Services and burial will be at a later date. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
