MILFORD - Sarah Delores White, departed this life on May 7, 2012, at Bayhealth Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1941, in Jacksonville, Fla., to the late Gertrude and Raleigh McCormick, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alex; and brother, Raleigh McCormick, Jr. Sarah is survived by her children, Michael (Stacy) White, Sharon Hannah, Ronald (Kesinee) White, Darrell (Annette) White, Aaron White, Wayne White, and Genese (Alfred) Reed; an adopted son, Ardonus (Joyce) White (currently in Kuwait); sister, Bertha Cole, of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Leroy McCormick of Jacksonville, Fla; three brothers-in-law, Huey and Willie White, both of Milford, and Morgan White, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla; sister-in-law, Nettie Mae White; 17 grandchildren and one special granddaughter, Arica Frazier; 37 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and four devoted friends, BettyJo, Juanita, Carolyn, and Tangie. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Mt. Zion AME Church, Ellendale, with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery. DE-Sarah-White.JPG/
