Sarah Catherine Morris Harmon

LEWES - Sarah Catherine Morris Harmon of Lewes, died Tuesday, April, 12, 2011, at Christiana Medical Center after a brief illness. Sarah was born June 5, 1923, in Lewes, to the late George B. Rosa Morris Johnson. Sarah was a homemaker and member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness in Georgetown. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Sr; her son, Larry A.; her sister, Helen J. Day; and brother, George E. Johnson. She is survived by her four sons, Leon J. Jr. of Milton, George I. of Lewes, Rodney E. of Lewes, and Robert W of Yorktown, Va.; three daughters, Marion of Washington, D.C., Sarah C. Snipes of Lewes, and Linda Wheeler of Lewes; one sister, Gladys Street of Lewes; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011, at the Jehovah Kingdom Hall, 22300 Lewes Georgetown Hwy, Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call 2 hours prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jehovah Kingdom Hall, Georgetown, DE. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. Arrangements by Robert W. Miller Funeral Services.
