SEAFORD - Sara L. Jones passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017. She was born Oct. 3, 1926 to Stephen and Helen Willey Walker in Kenton. Sara married Ralph Jones in 1947 and raised her family in Delaware. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Ralph Jones, Sr.; and six children, Ralph, Jr., Micah, Harold, Cynthia, Horace, and Darrin. She is survived by her son, Stephen Duane Jones and his wife, Beverly, from Seaford; six grandchildren, Jason Jones, John Oates, Micah Jones, Jr., Stephanie Lyons, Tracy Bryant, and Tony Maxwell; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950. Viewing will be held one hour prior, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Bridgeville Cemetery.
