Sandra G. Nickerson, 44 DOVER - Sandra G. Nickerson, of Dover, passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, in her home with family. She was 44. She was born on Nov. 25, 1963, in Newark, N.J., to the late Joseph and Joyce Dail Gomes. She was a waitress at Harrington Raceway. She enjoyed cooking, Disney World, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Nickerson III of Dover; sons, Shawn Riley of Dover, Thomas W. and Jaime Nickerson IV of Dover; daughter, Shannon Jones of Dover; brother, Daniel Vaccaro of Lagrange, N.C.; sister, Patricia and grandson, Thomas W. Nickerson V of Dover. Remembrance services will 1 p.m. Tuesday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be in the Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Melanoma Research Foundation C/O Kim McCullough 3717 Sanibel Village Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
