Samuel E. Pritchett

TOWNSEND - Samuel E. Pritchett , passed away on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012. Mr. Pritchett was born July 17, 1945, in Dover, the son of the late Thomas and Francees Pritchett. He was self employed for his entire working career of nearly 40 years as a Commercial Crabber. Mr. Pritchett enjoyed crabbing, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his son, Tommy Pritchett of Townsend; two brothers, William Pritchett (Brenda) and Richard Pritchett, all of Townsend; his ex-wife, Pam Pritchett of Bridgeville; and her children, Michael Zadroga, Amber Howard, and Samuel Zadroga; and several nieces; and nephews. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at 9 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery in Frederica, DE.
