Sally Jackson, 73 FELTON - Sally Jackson, formerly of Carbondale, Pa., died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in her residence. She was 73. She was the daughter of the late John and Genevieve Dutchman Costantino. Sally had worked for many years as a Registered Nurse and had served with the Milford Home Health Care Service prior to her retirement in 2003. She was a faithful member of the Dover Air Force Base Catholic Chapel, where she served as a Eucharist Minister and was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, which taught religious education to children each Sunday. She had been a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and in her quieter moments she had enjoyed arts and crafts, especially ceramics. A cheerful and outgoing person, Sally will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline Pechusick. She is survived by her husband, Chester Gordon Jackson Sr. of Felton; four children, Carol Vadala Soden of Carbondale, Pa., Linda Harris of Naugatuck, Conn., Daniel L. Thompson Jr. of Waterford, Mich. and Mary Jo Tolerico of Pennsylvania; two stepchildren, Chester Gordon Jackson Jr. of Scranton, Pa. and Elizabeth Rosengrant of Dover; two sisters, Mary Carol Neal of Asheville, N.C. and Jean Laguzzi of Browndale, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, in the Dover Air Force Base Chapel 2, Dover. Interment will be 1 p.m. in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Georgetown.
