DOVER - Sabrina Denise Parker Cooks-Moore, of Dover departed this life suddenly Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, after a brief illness and stay at Kent General Hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1956, in Delaware to the late Clorice and George Parker. Sabrina was educated in the Milford public school system and attended Delaware State University. Her infectious smile captivated everyone she met. She was a warm friendly spirit and would start a conversation with everyone, even with individuals she did not know. She loved to talk and when in her presence there was never a dull moment. She would tell you what was on her mind whether you liked it or not. She had a love of music and would often sing as she danced. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Clorice and George Parker and two brothers, Willis Baynard and Duane Parker. She is survived by one sister, Janice Lofland of Milford; two sons, Terry and wife Yvette of Boothwyn, Pa., and Terrell Cooks of Dover; one daughter, Talisa Moore of Dover and five grandchildren. There will be a celebration of her life held at the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post 2 in Dover on her birthday of Thursday at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Milford, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, to aid in funeral costs.
