Ryder David Yencer was born on Thursday, June 24, 2021, to parents Autumn and Brandon Yencer. Ryder's family was blessed to spend three days with him before he passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
Ryder experienced holding his mommy and daddy's fingers, hugs and kisses from his family, and being told "I love you" an uncountable number of times. Ryder will always remain his parents' precious baby, and they will hold him again in heaven one day.
Ryder is survived by his mother and father, Autumn and Brandon Yencer; grandparents, Michelle and Doug Stephens, Edward and Sherry Knotts, Cynthia Yencer and Jerry Dennin, and Kevin and Kristen Yencer; great-grandparents, Fran and Rick Moore, Bobbi and Bill Knotts, and David Yencer; aunt and uncles, Dustin and Ashlynn Yencer and Tyler Voshell; and cousin, Grayson Yencer.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, DE 19901 at 1 p.m. A visitation will be held from Noon-1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to organizations that assist preemie parents, such as March of Dimes, Hand to Hold, Graham's Foundation, Miracle Babies, or Project Sweet Peas.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Brandon's Delaware State Police family for their unwavering support during this most difficult time.
Sympathy cards may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
