Ruth Maxine Huber, 86

MILLSBORO - Ruth Maxine Huber of Millsboro died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in the Green Valley Terrace Nursing Home, Millsboro. She was 86.

Mrs. Huber was born in New Castle, Pa., daughter of the late Ray and Georgiana (Beard) Cartwright.

She moved to Millsboro with her husband in 1980.

Mrs. Huber was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lewes, and was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 54 years, William Huber, in 1992.

Mrs. Huber is survived by three sons, Robert D. Watkins of Calabash, N.C., John D. Watkins of Roxana, and William R. Huber of Stafford, Va.; eight grandchildren, Eric Watkins, Robin Watkins, David Huber, Jodie Watkins, Heather McCabe, Melanie Watkins, Scott Huber and Shawn Watkins; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Watkins of New Castle, and Dorie Buckley of Pittsburgh.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkin-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, with Associate Pastor Hilary Livingston officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one-hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Lewes Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer"s Association, Delaware Chapter, 23006 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805.
