After her marriage to Wilson "Tait" Taylor, and raising her young children, she became the Cafeteria Manager at Seaford Middle School for 22 years, retiring in 1987 to devote her time to caring for her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Seaford. Her husband preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by two sons, Robert Taylor, of Florida, and Jeffrey T. Taylor, and wife Cindy, of Seaford; one daughter, Tracy Taylor Morris, and husband, Doug, of Seaford; three grand-daughters, Sarah Taylor Wills (Jeremy) of South Carolina, Claire Taylor Haas (Seb), of Philadelphia, and Caitlin Morris White (Todd) of Seaford; two grandsons, Shane Taylor (Jocelyn) of Laurel, and Matthew Taylor Morris of Virginia Beach; and one very special great-granddaughter, Penelope Ruth Wills. Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2014 at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 Shipley St., Seaford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, 315 High St., Seaford, DE 19973.
