Ruth Lorraine Reynolds

GREENWOOD - Ruth Lorraine Reynolds of Greenwood, died on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Milford Center in Milford, DE. She was 93. Mrs. Reynolds was born June 25, 1918 in Chester, Pa., the daughter of the late Walter and Edna Friberg. She worked for many years as a Realtor. Ruth enjoyed antiquing and gardening. She was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Milford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard in 2001; two sons, Jack Reynolds, Sr. and Leonard C. Reynolds, Jr.; and a brother, Walter Friberg, Jr. She is survived by two daughter-in-laws, Joanne Reynolds of Wilmington, Del., and Sylvia Reynolds of Milford, Del.; two grandsons, Jeffrey Reynolds of Lincoln, Del., and Jack Reynolds, Jr. of Downingtown, Pa.; three granddaughters, Kris Phillips of Milford, Jodi Brown of Smyrna, Del., and Juliann Willey of Middletown, Del.; a nephew, Walter Friberg of Middletown, Del.; a niece, Joanne Friberg of Virginia; and nine great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 9 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, DE. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 S. East Front St., Milford, DE 19963. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
