Ruth C. Huber, 72
LEWES - Ruth C. Huber of Lewes, formerly of Baltimore and Shrewsbury, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at her home. She was 72.
Mrs. Huber was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late Harry Sr. and Emma Meise.
Mrs. Huber was family oriented and was know throughout the area for her beautiful smile and laugh.
She was a member of S.O.S. in Pennsylvania, the United Methodist Women of Conley"s Church in Lewes, Girls Night Out and was a member of the beautification committee of the Cove on Herring Creek.
Mrs. Huber was also an avid bowler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Edward Huber, in 2005.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey J. Huber and his wife, Diane, of Baltimore; and a brother, Harry Meise and his wife, Myrna, of Lewes.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, in Conley"s Methodist Church, 22150 Robinsonville Road, Lewes.
Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ruth"s name to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947; or Tunnell Cancer Center, 18941 John J. Williams Highway, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
