Russell I. Moore Jr.

Millsboro – Russell I. Moore, Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at his residence. Born in Showell, Md., he was the son of the late Russell I. Moore, Sr. and Viola E. Waters Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of St. John 2nd Baptist Church where he served as an usher. Prior to retiring, he was employed by Mary Lou Trucking Company in Florida as a truck driver. He will be lovingly remembered by one sister, Evelyn Robinson of Millsboro, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, William Henry Moore, one foster brother, Herman Waters, and one sister, Carolyn Burnie. Mr. Moore will lie in repose on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Rev. Annie Custis will be the Officiating Pastor. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury, Md.
