DOVER - Ruby Ruth Grasso passed away peacefully at Silverlake Nursing Home, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born April 3, 1918 in Chilhowie, Va., to the late Rush L. and Rosa Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Johnson, Mae Graeff, Virgie and Virginia Johnson (at 6 weeks), Robert Lee Johnson (10 months), Frank Johnson, and Marie Reeves; former husbands, Joseph Cole, Donald Mills, Sr. and Rosario J. Grasso. She is survived by her sister, Grace Gordon, of Oxford, Pa.; daughter, Anne Anderson, of Lancaster, Pa., Donald E. Mills, Jr. (Jean), of Belair, Md., Dean Mills (Judith), of Magnolia, David E. Mills (Charito), of Bohol, Philippines, and Philip C. Grasso, of Harrington; grandchildren, Stephen Mills, David Mills, Sandra Kerrigan, Scott Mills, Debbie Fernandez, Dawn Huyser, Darren Mills, Jackie Deen, Donna Lee Pennington, Dorinda Taylor, Angela Garcia; step-grandchildren, Benjamin, Brian, and Gabrielle Fay; numerous great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
