Christensen, 84 OKEECHOBEE - Ruby Nell Christensen died January 13, 2015. She was born April 14, 1930 in Laurel, Mississippi to Norris and Ora Annie Harrington Bustin. A resident of Okeechobee since 1984, she was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, singing, arranging flowers and cooking. Mrs. Christensen was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Christensen. She is survived by her husband, Bob Christensen; four sons, Wayne Richbourg (Bonnie) all of Okeechobee, Randy Richbourg (Anita) of Clewiston, Bob Christensen, Jr. of Savannah, Ga. and Dave Christensen (Melissa) of Okeechobee; three daughters, Jan Brooks (Walter) of Waynesville, N.C., Cathie Nance of Okeechobee and Donna Lightsey of Ft. Pierce; grandchildren, Bill, Jodi, Heather, Ryan, Erin, Staci, Kevin, Stefanie, Jason, Ryan, Zachary; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Lindell Selvey officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with Clinton Curington officiating.
