Roy Curtis Mahrenholz

Roy Curtis Mahrenholz, 83 DOVER - Roy Curtis Mahrenholz, of Dover, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 83. Mr. Mahrenholz had worked for General Foods for over 43 yrs as an engineer and production manager, was a project engineer for Duffield Engineering Working on projects for Del. St. Correction Facilities. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was also a member of Wesley U.M. Church in Dover, the American Legion, Walter L. Fox post #2, in Dover, and a Charter member of Mapledale Golf and Country Club. Mr. Mahrenholz is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha Lee; two sons, Scott A. Mahrenholz of Virginia Beach, Va., and Todd I. Mahrenholz of Dover; two grandchildren, Andrew Mahrenholz and his wife Andrea, and Candice Gilman and her husband Ben. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Kayla Rae and Abigail. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 209 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901.
