Rosemarie Dixon

GALENA, Md. - Rosemarie Dixon, 77, of Galena, Md. passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Chester River Hospital. Mrs. Dixon was born on December 16, 1934 in New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose August. Rosemarie was a loving mother where she raised eight children and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved the Lord and was an active member of The Trinity House of Worship in Clayton, Del. She enjoyed growing vegetables, writing poetry and songs, seek and find word puzzles, making porcelain dolls and sewing. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, William Dixon; six sons, Steven Mujica, Ray Mujica and wife Trish, Larry Mujica and wife Eileen, Dan Mujica and significant other Carol, Jim Mujica and wife Verawati, and Pete Mujica; two daughters, Donna Ford and husband Steven, and Debbie Kossman and husband Jim. She was one of eleven children and is survived by a sister, Gloria August and her husband Ted; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Buddy. A Funeral Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross Street, Galena, Md., where friends may call two hours prior. Burial in Galena Cemetery, Galena, Md. www.galenafuneralhomeofsls.com
