BEAR - Rose Marie Halsey, 50, of Bear, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. Born on Dec. 15, 1960, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Elsie (Fell) Halsey. Rose grew up in Middletown and was a graduate of Middletown High School. For more than 20 years, she worked for VPI in Delaware City and was the recording secretary for Local 1756. She is survived by her loving son, Joshua Wade Halsey; and two brothers, Wade Joseph and David W. Halsey and their families. Friends may visit with Rose's family from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Jean Birch MOT Senior Center, 300 South Scott Street, Middletown.
