Rosario Pirrone, 67
LINCOLN - Rosario Pirrone of Lincoln passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 67.
Mr. Pirrone was born in Italy, son of the late Liborio and Rosaria (Anile) Pirrone.
He worked as a cook in many area restaurants for more than 40 years, retiring in 1997.
Mr. Pirrone was a member of the Word of Hope Church, Rehoboth Beach.
He enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, and was known as a regular "Mr. Fix-It."
Mr. Pirrone loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Piera Olinda Pirrone; three daughters, Rose Smith and her husband Arron of York Pa., Agnes Boothman and her husband the Rev. Greg Boothman of Lincoln and Daniela Marchione and her husband John of Townsend; four sisters; two brothers; and seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Breana and Sarah Boothman, Kayla Fenton, Chelsea Smith and Alissa and Claudia Marchione.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Interment will be at the Milford Community Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Boothman will officiate.
