Ronald Rossi, 52 DOVER - Ronald Rossi, 52, of Dover, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010. Ron was born June 3, 1957, in Chester, Pa., son of the late Michael Rossi Jr. and Eleanor (Draper) Rossi. He moved to Delaware in the late 70's and attended Caesar Rodney High School. Ron worked for over 25 years as a heating/air conditioning technician for Penn-Del Heating and Air Conditioning in PA. On the weekends and in his spare time he enjoyed working with family and friends with harness horses. He was a diehard Eagles, Phillies and NASCAR fan. Ron was a heart and soul family man. His family was his biggest pride and joy in life. He never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Rossi; two sons, Ronnie Rossi, and Matthew Rossi, both at home; three sisters, Loretta Walls and her husband Bruce of Dover, Lisa Little of Dover, and Joanne Moran and her husband Edward of Magnolia; a brother, Michael Rossi of Dover; father and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Anna Mae Sherman Jr. of Little Creek; three brothers-in-law, Wilbert Sherman III and his wife Janet of Felton, Ernest Sherman of Georgia, and Joseph Sherman and his wife Edwina of Little Creek; nine nephews and nine nieces. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Heart Association, Kent County, 1151 Walker Rd., Suite 202, Dover, DE 19904.
