Ronald Lawson, 75 HARTLY - Ronald Lawson, of Hartly, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at home. He was 75. Mr. Lawson was born Sept. 6, 1934, in Bergen, N.Y., to the late David Wallace Lawson and Doris Rudolf Lawson. He served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Lawson worked for General Foods (Kraft) for 30 years in production and then 11 years for Scott Paper (Proctor & Gamble) in production. Mr. Lawson was a member of the NRA, past member of the Lions Club of Dover and was a scout leader for 15 years. He had attended and volunteered at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marydel, Md. Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson, Matthew Harold. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Ann Heaman Lawson of Hartly; six children and their spouses, Ronald D. Lawson, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Pittsburgh, Pa., Donna M. Miller and her husband Logan of Dover, Daniel J. Lawson and his wife Shelli of Hartly, David H. Lawson and his wife Brenda of Camden, James E. Lawson and his wife Lisa of Dover, and Christopher A. Lawson and his wife Kim of Salisbury, Md.; siblings and in-laws, Donna J. Clark and her husband Brian, Thomas H. Heaman and his wife Judie, Deborah J. Sorensen, all of LeRoy, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 22, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 522 Main Street, Marydel, Md. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
