MILLSBORO - Ronald Hubert Higgins Sr. of Millsboro passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007, in his home.
He was born in Trenton, N.J., son of the late William Higgins and Florence Semler.
Mr. Higgins was a volunteer firefighter for New Jersey. He also worked for 15 years as a school bus driver for Telamon Corp. and Millaway Daycare. He was loved by family, community, and church members.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Nancy Higgins of Millsboro; nine children, Nelida Diaz of Douglasville, Ga., Norma I. Nieves of Philadelphia, Annette Whitson, of Tallahassee, Fla., Marian N. Dassy of Philadelphia, Rosita Nieves of Philadelphia, Jose M. Latorre of Harrington, Sandra L. Hernandez of Toms River, N.J., Ronald H. Higgins Jr., of Millsboro, Meggan K. Alabaugh of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Linda Harris of Brandon, Fla.; 32 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
A viewing will be Sunday in Iglesia de Dios Marantha, 24620 German Road, Seaford, with funeral services at 1 and 7 p.m.
