Sudlersville, MD. - Ronald F. Seaman, Sr. "Satch/Hot Dog", formally of Magnolia, passed away Sun., May 24, 2015 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born on Jul. 24, 1946 in Dover to late Laurin and Corinne Downes Seaman. He was a member of Frederica Vol. Fire Dept. served as chief engineer, truck and ambulance driver and fire police. Member of Magnolia Vol. Fire Dept. served as fire police. He was a member of the Delaware State Fire Police. He was a member of the Kent County Fireman's Association and served on the board of directors. He coached Little League and was a Cub Scout leader. He volunteered for the Camden/Wyoming Moose and The Elks Club in MD. He was a truck driver for Kent County Levy Court, worked for Wyoming Block, and Del-Mar-Va Drilling. He is preceded in death by a sister, Sueann Coker; and step-grandson, Frankie Edwards. He is survived by his Wife of 45 years, Wilma Seaman of Sudlersville; son, Ronald F. Seaman, Jr of Hartly; step- sons, Rusty Edwards of Frederica Walter Edwards of Toyko, Japan, Jeffery Edwards of Felton; step-daughter, Marsha Haass of Viola; brother, Laurin "Sonny" Seaman of Felton; sister, Charlotte Maurer of Magnolia; three grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren. Remembrance services will be held Fri., May 29, 11 A.M. at Trader Funeral Home in Dove. Burial will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery Sand town. Friends may call Thurs., May 28, 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Magnolia Vol. Fire Dept. or Delaware Hospice.
