MAGNOLIA - Ronald B. White Sr., died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, in Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 60. He was born March 27, 1949 in Milford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Nelson Hall Farms. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 7 of Harrington and the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge 203. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Tripp. He is survived by children, Ronald White Jr. of Savannah, Ga., and Albert C. White of Magnolia; two stepchildren, Charles W. Caldwell of Felton, and Deborah Caldwell of Monticello, Ind.; sister, Sandra Fitzgerald of Harrington; brothers, Willard Thomas of Dover, Raymond Thomas of Magnolia and Steven White of Dover; and 16 grandchildren. A memorial service will be 12 noon Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
