Rome Willard 'Bill' Cain Sr., 66
DENTON, Md. - Rome Willard "Bill" Cain Sr. of Denton died, having lost the battle with cancer, Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 66.
Mr. Cain was born April 13, 1940, in Ridgely, son of the late Rome and Margaret Doris (Weigert) Cain.
He served six years in the Maryland Army National Guard.
He worked for Mulholland Harper Co.
Mr. Cain was a lifetime resident of the area, and enjoyed the presence of his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Merle Coleman (Glenn) Cain, July 13, 2006; and a son, Rome "Billy" Cain Jr., in 1988.
He is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Glenna L. and Rickey J. Dodd of Easton; a sister and a brother-in-law, Ginny L. and Buster Ebling of Harrington, Del.; and two granddaughters, Heather Dodd and Jennifer Dodd, both of Easton.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home P.A., Greensboro.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
