Roland E. Conaway

MILTON - Roland "Dink" E. Conaway passed away on Feb. 3, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Born in Seaford, he is the son of the late Andrew and Catherine Conaway.
Dink had proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was retired from the U.S.D.A. as a food inspector, and a member of Central Worship Center. Dink enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Conaway of Milton; and his son, Duane Conaway and his wife Diane; grandchildren, Chris Conaway, Kevin Conaway, Cherie Bradley, and Andrew Ockles and his wife Chrissy; and five great grandchildren also survive him. His siblings, Madeline Hudson, Andrew Conaway (Josephine), Ronald Conaway (Doris), Darlene Tapman (Bryan) and Joanne Mitchell (Donald) all of Laurel and Seaford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Darrell Conaway and Cheryl Ockels; and a brother in law.
All services will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home Laurel.
