MAGNOLIA - Roger D. Seigler, Sr. died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017. Born in Easton, Md. on Jan. 1, 1961, Roger was the son of Eugene F. Seigler, Sr. and the late Ethel Adkins Seigler. He attended North Caroline High School. Mr. Seigler had a lifelong career as a painter. He was extremely close to his family and loved them dearly. Roger was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge 534 and enjoyed socializing with his fellow members. The one thing everybody knew about Roger was he loved music, especially Elvis. In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, Roger D. Seigler, Jr. and his wife, Terry of Denton, Md.; five grandchildren, Amethyst and Leeanne Seigler, Chelsea Dalton, Brittany Hunt and Caleb Scott; two great grandchildren, Isaiah Hunt and Andrew Scott; four siblings, Shirley Brown, Frank Seigler, Jr., Wanda Cook and Kathy Geisel. A memorial funeral service will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. in Denton, Md. Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The interment will be private. If friends wish to send memorial donations in Roger's memory, please send them to the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. Second St., Denton, MD 21629 to help defray funeral expenses.
