CHESTERTOWN. MD - Robin Sue McGuire of Chestertown, MD died Monday, July 11, 2016 in Shore Medical Center in Chestertown. Robin S. McGuire was born Dec. 31, 1968 in Chestertown, Md. the daughter of Vi McGuire and the late Richard Charles Carpenter Sr. Robin attended Queen Anne's High School and got married and started her family early in life. She worked as a waitress for Pizza Hut and Boscov's Family Restaurant for several years but spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her family. In her early years she was a member of the FFA and was the FFA beauty queen when she was in the 11th grade. Robin was also a member of the Chestertown Church of the Nazarene. She loved to play BINGO, go dancing, fishing, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her family, friends and animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Carpenter Sr.; and her daughter, Pamela Reed. Robin is survived by her husband, Clayton McGuire of Chestertown, Md.; her mother, Vi McGuire of Harrington, Del.; four daughters, Ashley Boyles of Magnolia, Del., Jennifer Reed of Chestertown, Md., Angela Lewis of Chestertown, Md., Sabrina Reed of Chestertown, Md.; one brother, Richard Carpenter Jr. (Cindy) of Chestertown, Md.; six grandchildren, Logan, Aubree, Danielle, David, Kierra, Brianna; two nieces, Crystal and Kera Carpenter of Chestertown, Md.; and step father, Hays Grapperhaus. A visitation will be held Saturday July 16, 2016 from 12 noon – 2 p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to the Chestertown Church of the Nazarene, 6943 Church Hill Rd., Chestertown, MD 21620.
