Robert 'Bobby' Morgan,
MILFORD - On September 15, 2021, Robert "Bobby" Morgan passed away suddenly at home. He was born November 30, 1941 to the late Elmer and Junie Morgan of Milford.
He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps from 1959 to 1965. After an honorable discharge, he further served his country in the Marine Corps Reserve and Delaware National Guard. He would always say "Once a Marine always a Marine". He retired after 30 years as a supervisor in the Chocolate Department at General Foods.
He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved having cookouts with them. He was always willing to help his neighbors and friends whenever he could.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph Morgan and Jimmy Morgan; his sisters and their spouses, Leatha and Thurman Banning, Ethel and Tom Craft, and Joan and Sherman Dearth.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Boyce of Seaford, Del.; his loving wife of 56 years, Anna Lee "Ann" Morgan; his daughters and their spouses, Cherie and Michael Kersey, Tricia and Scott Shockley; his granddaughters, Morgan Nino and her husband Chris, Meghan Allen and her husband Dalton, Madison Kersey and her boyfriend Mike Johnson; his grandson, Nathaniel Kersey and his girlfriend Amanda Moore; and his new great grandson, Gabriel Allen.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call one hour before. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
