Robert Machalski

HARTLY - Robert Machalski, Jr., departed life on Apr. 18, 2017, in Christiana Hospital Newark.
Born in Goldsboro, N.C., on Jun. 2, 1965, he was the son of Robert and Linda Machalski of Hartly.
Robert had worked throughout Delaware as a licensed electrician and in earlier years worked in production and manufacturing. During his life he acquired nicknames such as "Pickle", "RobbieMac" and "Robski".
Robert liked to stay active as in school he was on the track team and later found his passion in Martial Arts.
He enjoyed teaching and sharing his love for martial arts as an instructor of Wing Chun Art.
Robert enjoyed traveling through South America as he lived there for two years.
Besides his parents he is survived by his fiancee, Kim Quick.
He was preceeded in death by his dog and faithful companion Astro.
He will be missed by all his friends, especially Enda Manz, Sam and Juilie Hill, Jim, Mary and JC. Cole, Bob and Tammy Miller, Reese Elliot and Kenny Sucuse.
Memorial services will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at The Delaware Highway Memorial Garden located in the Smyrna Rest Area, Smyrna.
